I am finally getting into sugar work.
Over the last few months I have been back and forth to Chicago 3 times for classes. Very fun!
I also now have a sugar work box! I purchased it through the school I was at (they make it themselves). It's so much better than any of the ones you will find online (they are plexiglass... this is lexan! think airplane windows and bulletproof if it's thick enough haha). Still working on setting up a semi-permanent work station in the house. Right now I am crammed into a corner of the basement.

I have totally not been updating this account. =C
Partially because I want this account to be used for my best work and not just the normal to sorta-cool stuff that I have on my main account, and lately I've just been doing middle of the road stuff at school (I am getting bored with my school... really tempted just to leave and go to pastry school already).
The other part being my family has a lot going on now so there has not been lots of time to play around. When I get into culinary experimentation mode, I need at least an afternoon... which nowadays I don't have. GRRRRRR.
